Optiparts centreboards and rudders

A reliable centreboard and rudder are essential for the control, directional stability and manoeuvrability of an Optimist. This category contains Optiparts centreboards, rudders and related parts for recreational sailing, training and racing.

The centreboard helps to reduce sideways drift, while the rudder allows the boat to be steered accurately. When selecting a suitable part, consider the boat type, version and dimensions.

Check the individual product information for exact specifications and make sure the selected centreboard, rudder or part is suitable for your Optimist.
