The Planus Vortex discharge pump forms part of the discharge system of a Planus marine toilet. Its high rotational speed and the design of the pipework create a vacuum that removes water and organic waste from the toilet bowl.
The Vortex pump can discharge wastewater into a holding tank or directly overboard. Local regulations must be followed when discharging overboard.
